Origins
Born in Quebec, a Canadian national, Mylène Gautier (his real
name) borrows his stage name to Frances Farmer, an American actress tragic
destiny. It counts among its ancestors Breton and Irish parents.
His
debut during Florent
Before embracing a singing career, Mylène Gautier wanted to become
an actress. She attended for several years the famous Cours Florent. His
classmates were called Thierry Mugler, Agnès Jaoui and Pierre-Loup Rajot. She
performed on stage with Vincent Lindon - with whom she remained friendly - in
an adaptation of the film Josepha during his last year in Florent.
His
talent for drawing
In 2003, Anne Carrière publish editions Lisa-Loup and the
Storyteller, a tale for adults illustrated by a small character who will then
take the name of Lonely Lisa. Recurring heroine of her videos, she became his
avatar and even has its own website.
A
grandfather sculptor
She inherited much of her artistic talents of her grandfather,
whom she maintained a work she loves more than anything in the world: a cast
representing an infant sitting playing with an open skull. As a tribute to it
that she dreams of one day an exhibition of his own designs.
Her
love of animals
Mylène lived for twenty-three years with a female capuchin monkey
named AND Their agreement was almost symbiotic until the death of the animal on
1 January. The singer adopted four abandoned cats. She also loves horses and is
among his relatives the trainer Mario Luraschi, who collaborated on many of its
clips.
His secret
refuge
Whenever she can, Mylène flew to Corsica. She enjoys spending time
in his quiet house facing the sea in the south of the island.
